My name is Julie Mossey and I grew up in Totowa, NJ – a small town about 30 minutes west of NYC. I lived there for 20 years, moved not too far for almost 8, but now I'm back in town and better than ever. I'm the youngest of 3, have a horse-sized dog named Sonny, and take extreme pride in being apart of the Jeep Wave gang.
It's funny to reflect on my childhood and see when the designer in me came about. I've always been quite the crafter— then Mr. Computer came along and I was exposed to the digital world. I'm a 90's kid so it started with Microsoft Paint (RIP), but in high school I was introduced to the Adobe Suite. I ended up assistant teaching web design and animation classes my senior year and took my love for digital design with me to college. In 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design & Advertising.
Most underestimate the power of good design, whether that be the font choice of a logo, the header image on your website, or the sign outside of your business . Design is the first impression of your brand. It shapes the understanding and quality of what you can deliver. (And not to be technical but it's all subconscious). It is hands down one of the most important aspects of your business.
